As we all know that Android is an Open Source Operating system(OS) based on linux and Linux has a super rights called SuperUser or SU android rooting is a process in Android in which it gives superuser rights to your device from which you can get rights over your Android device.
Rooting your device gives you an app called SuperSU.There is a a lot of apps which can root your device some are kingroot, framaroot which are apps and other is chainfireSU which is a zip file which should be flashed with any custom recovery.
1> After rooting your android device you can remove unwanted system applications which are using your device memory and consumes ram which is useless.
2>You can install custom roms, tweak your device according to you,or use any app that requires superuser permissions.
3>Install custom roms:-Search the web for custom roms of your suitable device and install it via custom recoveries which makes the device little less laggy, increase performance.
1>Your warranty is void with rooting. You have to unroot device to get warranty again.
2>If you don’t have little knowledge you can easily brick your device and if you have no knowledge to get it back to stock then you have to pay some buks/rupees(almost 300/-) to get repaired.
3>If you delete some system app which is require for Android system you can get an error known as “unfortunately ____ has stopped” or even you can get bootloop(stuck on android logo for infinite time).
In short Rooting is a fun experience to have but with a little knowledge.
